EDCLC is one of five strategic initiatives of the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri. While we oversee big, broad city-wide initiatives, it's just as important to us to champion individuals. People who work hard, day in and day out to make their dreams come true and to set examples for generations of hard-working Kansas Citians to come. 

We believe everyone has great ideas, all across the city, but for too long, some local business owners have been left behind. This program is specifically designed to start changing that narrative by providing loans to those in our East Side neighborhoods, River Market neighborhoods and Columbus Park neighborhoods, who have previously been turned down by a financial institution.
